When I decided to go live on IG and create this painting, I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like, but wasn't quite sure.
Since August 2021, I've had moments where I can somehow channel my feelings into a synesthetic episode of colour, shape and form.
“Feel” what I feel as shapes and colour… emote them into tangible substance. ..into being.
I injured myself pretty badly and after 2 days on bed, once I could move a little, all I really wanted to do was paint.
…just pour it out there.
…and so I did.
I translated that pain I was feeling, and seeing in three distinct colours, into this exquisite and masterful work of art, (yeah, I know, I'm not shy about saying I've created something stunning)!
I'm not fully recovered, but can't stop staring at it now that it's framed.
